Armscor Shooting Ranges Inc. (ASRI), a 100% Filipino-owned company was incorporated in January 9, 1997. Having been accredited by the PNP as a Basic Firearms Handling Institution, its role is to impart to the citizenry the proper handling of firearms. It was also established to promote consumer awareness and to showcase the products of Arms Corporation of the Philippines (ACP) in the line of firearms and ammunition.

Recognized by the Department of Tourism as a Sports and Recreation Facility, ASRI was able to develop its clientele among various sports enthusiasts, police, military, security and regular firearms owners in the country. It is gradually gaining momentum and expects to continually expand its present niche in the market.

ASRI is strategically located in a 2.2 hectare parcel of land in the east of the metropolis at the foot hills of Rizal which makes it a perfect place for sports-shooting enthusiasts to pursue their passion. A gun club was formally organized and was named Team Armscor Shooting and Hunting Club Inc (TASHCI). As part of the clubs’ program, a group of eminent shooters was formed to act as representatives and ambassadors of goodwill not only in local but also in international tournaments and shooting competitions.

Through the years, we have expanded our facilities to accommodate wide variety of shooting disciplines such as IPSC pistol, IDPA pistol, IPSC shotgun, precision rifle, metallic silhouette as well as shooting clinics and gun-safety seminars. The expansion from a 10-bay to 14-bay shooting range, its membership increased from 380 to 755 gun club members. The addition of Armscor Shooting Center in Makati with twelve indoor shooting bays in July 2005 extended the number of members to over a thousand to date. In January 2006 we opened a store in Cebu City and in December 2006 another in Davao City. Both Cebu and Davao branches foresee shooting ranges as part of their facilities in the near future.

Our company will continue to promote the shooting sports to tourists, institutions (like lawmen, corporate, media, clubs and other associations) and private citizens by offering a secure and private facility that can be educational for the novice shooter and offer a challenge to even the most seasoned pro. The management creates this vision, and is always looking for ways to improve and expand its facilities. Our goal has been to help introduce the whole family to shooting sports, as well as highlight the safe handling of firearms.
